Our cast metal mini-bases are fully wired with a candleabra socket, inline switch, harp and finial. They're finished with a rich lusterous antique bronze finish. The measurement of the lamp base is taken from the bottom of the socket to the bottom of the base. The base comes standard with a 4.5" harp (should be the same as the height of your shade or slightly smaller) but you can substitute a different harp as per the options below. This base ideally fits a shade with a 5-6" diameter. A good rule of thumb when selecting a base for your lampshade is to choose a base height which is an inch or two smaller than the diameter of your shade.
Considering the investment of time in creating your beautiful lampshade, be sure to display it on a base worthy of your efforts. These are the finest bases available in this price range.

| If you would like to substitute a different size harp to better suit your shade, measure the height of you shade and select a harp which is slightly less or equal to the height of the shade. We will substitute the harp of your choosing at no extra charge (only one free harp per base; $1.25 for each additional harp). |

We carry decorator bulbs which are ideal for usage with our mini bases. The benefit of these low profile bulbs is that they give ample light (40 watts) and fit under the mini base's unusually small harps. |
